I find it really weird you complain about friendly fire from Kanon of all NPCs when that is pretty much her sole role in your group even in GER, to knock your ass around constantly. though it took me a while to notice that my DPS was higher with that than the regular fang deployment or Round Fang boosts (Execution would be better if I could only get the timing right consistently). The "Mortal Divide" blood art is proving pretty reliable for tearing Aragami to pieces safely and consistently. So with a grand declaration of "NOPE", I went back to the Variant Scythe. The attacks with long charging times were an absolute nightmare to get anything done without being interrupted or the enemy simply moving out of range. actually landing those hits is another matter entirely. and while I've noticed that some of them are indeed very damaging IF they land a hit. But the Predator system had at least more positives than negatives, and it has since been impossible to attain that sort of mobility without it.Īlso I tried all the blood arts on all the weapons. Heck, I'd rather not have the Blood Rage crap littering my screen. Long story short, I'd MUCH rather have the Predator system back. Though having a ring of red around the compass is a nuisance itself when I'm trying to spot off-compass enemies. All that crap with the GUI and the pledges and trying to read huge chunks of text on the screen in the middle of a fight isn't worth it. A whole load of hassle for the sake of 10 seconds with a tiny melee boost and resistance to interruption. I only unlocked the Blood Rage yesterday, and it was a huge disappointment. You'll get used to the gameplay, and also, you will see how fun it is to try new melee and bullet build once you develop some Blood Arts and combine them all with Rage Burst. As the Predator Styles make your life easier while dealing with Aragami, you felt the difficulty spike once these skills aren't available in RB and you want to move too fast and devour like there's no tomorrow.ĭon't worry, though. IMO, as you played GER first, you got used to the "easy" gameplay that the Predator Styles provide (I know, it happened the same thing with players I know when GER was first released in JP there were a lot).
